Resident Theatre Company 2013-14

non zero one are continuing our residency at Royal Holloway for another year and will be the Resident Theatre Company for 2013-14.

We have really enjoyed our first year in the drama department and next year we will continue to teach devising courses to undergraduate students. It’s been fantastic to teach our approaches to making interactive theatre and our devising processes and to explore these with the students.

In 2013-14 we will be teaching a Theatre and Performance Making course for first year students, a Devising course for third years and the Final Year Project course. We will also continue our development of new work at RHUL, which began with r&d of just to come back earlier this year. We look forward to developing this further, especially in the exciting new spaces of the Caryl Churchill Theatre.

The residency has also allowed us to develop the way that the company operates, and John and Alex will continue to work three days a week for non zero one to deliver the teaching, with the support of the rest of the company, and work on administration and project management. This has also given non zero one more time to work creatively on projects.
