50 Contemporary Artists Respond to Duchamp’s Legacy… and we’re one of them

Sound the art klaxon. We’re making a brand new site-specific piece of work for The Fine Art Society as part of their major contemporary exhibition What Marcel Duchamp Taught Me.

Marking the centenary of Duchamp’s readymade, we’re joining the likes of Martin Creed, James Thurgood and 47 other artists by responding to the exhibition title.

something you’ve already seen is an audio journey that explores our relationship to viewing and being viewed in the private space and the public space.

”The One That Has Gone Before who might or might not have been here when you were over there looking over here, and they are the you who looked over here and might or might not have seen someone who’s now somewhere else – does that make sense?”

The exhibition opens with a private viewing on 9th October and then runs throughout October until 5 November 2014.

something you’ve already seen is kindly supported by Martin and Lesley Reith with additional support from SONY.
