“you only arrived here a few moments ago...and now you’re all wearing swimming caps...these people must be your team?" you are told that in nine minutes and 39 seconds, you will be facing something huge - something you might not normally do, alongside people you may never have met. as the size of the task ahead becomes clear, time stops. what will you need to know about the people in this room to feel ready to take on the task together? what will you ask, what will you tell, and what difference will any of it make? |

allow your curiosity to lead you through the building that has been the home of the Bush for the last 40 years. stolen kisses in the corner, furrowed brows on the fire escape, those final deep breaths before lines are spoken for the first time - encounter the past and dance with the future - what will you take from this place, and what will you leave behind? |

“have you ever wondered who you might have met if you’d gone to that party you decided not to go to?” would like to meet connects six participants to six different voices on six individual journeys. led by a voice heard through a pair of headphones, participants actively explore different environments, encountering scenarios where they are encouraged to have live interactions with their surroundings, performers and each other. |

“did you make the right choices tonight? take a look at the people you’re sat with. recall the moment you sat down at this table this evening. are you looking at the same people?” they vote with their feet explores themes of democracy and choice in performance by presenting its participants with the choice and opportunity to shape the course of their evening. |

“this isn’t random, you chose one option and not the other." part of an ongoing exploration of how we can be held accountable for our choices, hold hands / lock horns builds on 2009’s highly successful scratch of they vote with their feet at BAC. using radio frequency wireless headphone technology, participants form an intimate, one-on-one relationship with an interviewer, who invites them to enter a space and navigate the series of forks that branch out in front of them. each decision takes them forward, until they finish on a number from 1-64. |
