let’s take a walk – opening at the Barbican on 8th October 2016

We’re excited to announce we are once again returning to the Barbican with a brand new interactive audio experience: let’s take a walk.

So, what are you waiting for…

Will you go with it?
Could you be friends again?
Could you find the time?
How do you become You v 2.0?
What could the power of your attention do?
How do you know when it’s time to move on?

Over the past few months we’ve been working collaboratively with six members of the public to create let’s take a walk. We asked them ‘if you had some time with a stranger, where would you take them, what would you do and what would you talk about?’

Come and experience the results of the collaboration – choose a question and let it take you on a journey around the Barbican exploring themes of acceptance, lost friendships, self-image and how you interact with the world around you.

let’s take a walk is a free audio experience in the Barbican’s ground floor foyer that will be open for six months from Saturday 8th October 2016.

Access the piece by visiting the start-screen in the foyer and logging on to the web app. Mobile devices and headphones are also available to borrow from the Barbican to start your walk.
